Don't see the PELICANS getting the #1 spot this year.

shite, when Cousins has his head on straight, he is Dominant. The problem is that is only about 10 games a year.

Yes it'd be a scary front court for the next 2 - 3 years, but after they became men it'd probably be the best front court in the league.

Tyson Chandler was almost labeled a bust until he finally grew up here. I see a similar career path for Noel. Can we afford to wait 3 years for them to come together? I think we need diversity on the perimeter way more at this point.

I don't think Benson/Demps can which is why they probably would look at trading the pick.

Trading the pick. I like this idea. Have I mentioned this before?

Swap 1sts and pick up a 1st next year

This imo would be the best option. Especially if it meant adding another high pick in next years loaded draft

Totally agree with this. If we get the top pick smell a Cousins trade coming

Would they really want Lopez and then take another C with the pick?

If I may:

I think the most important thing this team can accomplish is getting Davis to sign for the max amount of time. Chris, remember, signed a max deal in terms of salary but not in terms of time.

The need to be winningy enough at the point at which he signs so that he's willing to take the money conferred by the longer deal.

Excuse me, sir. I need help with translation. Are you saying that they need to put a winner on the floor in order to have the best chance to lock up Davis long term?

Thank you sensei.

We need not to be staking the future on prospects, albeit top draft picks of this year.

The more effective course of action for next years squad would be to trade the pick, (solo, or part of a package) to obtain proven starters in the league already.

Wax the floor.
