You have a link to new info? That info I posted a few days ago was either from Ayon's camp or possibly from the Euro teams that want to sign him. He hadn't been released, they were just talking like he would be. The way the league is pushing this game, if ayon does get released I doubt it happens before this game.

Then he hasn't been cut. Whoever was the source of those reports seemed more concerned with trouble buying out his former Spanish team than trouble getting him out of the NBA, but I haven't seen anything from normal NBA sources to suggest he's going anywhere.

I also can't understand why the Magic would waive him. Maybe it'd clear an exception for them, but will that really make a big difference. It's not like they are oversubscribed in the frontcourt.
