exactly which is why trading for guys like Bledsoe or Dragic who make 14-15 mil a year is a something for the Pels to look into. they could get higher caliber players with contracts from the old CBA

Agreed, but I think you're looking at guys in the $6-$8 million range. A combo of Q+Frazier + pick (Diallo)
And Bledsoe, dude might never play with our medical team, plus we don't have the pieces to get him
Maybe you can get a Jeremy Lin for Cunningham, Pondexter, Frazier and a 1st round pick. Brooklyn may be willing to do that to get back into next year's draft.

If they are trading a first for Lin, then they need to dump Ajinca or Asik. Cunningham can be a free agent, I doubt he's involved in a sign and trade, especially to a team like Brooklyn who can just outright sign him if they want.

Cunningham has a player option. Maybe he excercises it, maybe he doesn't
