“There has been a major difference,” he said. “I haven’t had to key in on one injury. I haven’t had a major injury, so that I had to take most of my time and worry about that. This summer has been more like the summers before I was injured or had the stress reaction (in his right leg), where I can (now) do a lot of explosive things (athletically). It’s been great, feeling like I can do things with no restrictions, but at the same time being smart with the stuff I’m doing.”

Holiday says his eye injury is fine, but he's considering wearing goggles.

Also of note, this is from an article talking about much of the team getting together for voluntary workouts in Los Angeles. AD/Holiday/QPon/Ajinca/Jones/Galloway/Hield are mentioned. I'm pretty sure I've seen that Hill is in LA now too. But as much as that makes a fun summer story, we've seen both the Pels and Saints follow that kind of summer activity up with way below expectation seasons.

I just want to see a healthy team play. We have yet to see our best players playing together while healthy.

Nice article though. Can't wait to see what Jrue does healthy, playing with AD and starters minutes.

People definitely need to temper expectations for the team, even with good health luck.

And I like this mix more than what they've had, though still some big holes. Probably not as "talented" but the roster fits better than we've seen since CP3 glory days.

45 wins would be a great season with this group. The west may be down a little at the top (outside of GS), but it looks much deeper heading into the season.

Same I'm not expecting much from this team. We are way to dependent on Holiday and Gentry both of whom never showed anything when not surrounded by talent.

The way the West fell apart last year was a bit of an anomaly I think. For the past several years 6-12ish has been pretty tight with injuries and hot streaks making the difference between playoffs and lottery. That might even apply to 4-12 this season.
