Thats a decent point.

If you aren't being productive with late hours in the gym it may be a nice line on a fluff piece for a team writer, but it isn't producing results.

River's shot has always been a pretty annoying issue that you would think as a coaches son would be nearly immaculate.

I'd differ. I rather him play to his strengths as a rookie and transition to the pros. He can develop his ball handling as he continues to play in the league.

I know Ingram and Simmons are the "Superstars" of the draft but Hield will give them a run for their money. Boston is going regret passing on him.

I hope so, man. This team and fan base need that to happen badly. I just want to watch a team that can at the very least get in the playoffs year to year.

Well Steph came into the league similar to Hield his handles were better but not seen up to par for a pg. They played him on ball and had him doing dribbling drills and training. I would like to see him do the same. We need Hield to be a star and for that to happen he has to be a complete player.

Everybody gives Ingram and Simmons a one up a lot of times just because they are so young. Personally and some may disagree, I like these players that are seniors, who can come in and contribute asap even if they are already 22.

I would rather get a 22 year old that can contribute immediately on a cheap rookie contract and when you do go to pay them their big contract.. its during their prime. In a small market we don't get these lifers anyways, so whats the point of wasting 4 years developing that 19 year old and then when they finally are ready to contribute you have to pay them max money. And normally when that second contract is up they leave in a small market anyways. I just see us getting an extra 4 years of real value in a established player who already went through some of the growth pains these young players experience. Now obviously there are exceptions but generally speaking I'd prefer a Buddy Hield over a Jamal Murray.

Then that's dumb, you're saying I want the avg girl because no way can I keep the hot girl. If that's the case we should trade AD now for Derozan because at least he'll stay.

As an interesting side note that I caught in the comments section of TBW:

"1. A recent tweet from Jim Eisenhofer regarding the NBA most improved player award. Since 2005 when the nba implemented the "one and done" rule, only 1 such player, Kevin Love, has won the most improved player award. The previous 2 winners, CJ McCollum and Jimmy Butler, were both 4 year seniors. I think this speaks volumes to the idea of "old" 22 year Olds lacking potential."

Just found it interesting.

Buddy's 4 years, 39.0% from 3pt, 37.4% from 3pt excluding his senior year

top 5 SGs right now:
James Harden - 2 year college player; shot 37.6% from 3pt
Klay Thompson - 3 year college player; shot 39.0% from 3pt
CJ McCollum - 4 year college player; shot 37.7% from 3pt
DeMar DeRozan - 1 year college player; shot 16.7% from 3pt
Jimmy Butler - 3 year college player; shot 38.3% from 3pt

of those 5, DeRozan is the worst shooter, followed by Jimmy Butler who took the least 3pters in college of any multi-year player (0.9 attempts/game)

Notable Top 10 drafted SGs since 2010 (i'm leaving off rivers):
Beal - 1&done, 33.9% from 3pt
Waiters - 2 years, 34.8% from 3pt
McLemore - 1&done, 42.0% from 3pt
Ross - 2 years, 36.4% from 3pt
KCP - 2 years, 33.9% from 3pt
Evans - 1&done, 27.4% from 3pt
Oladipo - 3 years, 33.8% from 3pt
