As the most improved player in the NBA. He's averaging 16 points, 10 assist, and 5 rebounds this month and was 3 rebounds shy of having a triple double today vs Sac.

It's just nice to see someone who worked their arse off play at the level he's playing at right now.

He's a better fit for the Hornets than Rose, Williams or Liliard according to some on this board.

He gets over a million bits of recognition per year, before taxes.

As you know I am one of the biggest Vasquez fans in this forum, but I think he is getting plenty of recognition. Every time we have a non Hornets Tv broadcast, the commentators can not stop mentioning how good he is and he got the player of the week earlier this month. I sometimes get a bit upset with the negative reaction when he does something wrong, but other than that he is well recognized and respected at the moment.

kings announcers today said there's not many point guards out there better than him...said they check out Hornets games because they like watching him play.

I think Greivis is a top-ten PG. He isn't top five.

Some people on this board rate him higher than I do, and some rate him lower. The amount of pub he gets from ESPN, SI, and TNT doesn't really matter.

Jesus, let the dude finish A season as a starting PG before we rate him. IMO, he WILL be a top 10 PG, but I'm looking forward to seeing if he can prove it over time.

Yea, he has to play 82 games for us to evaluate him. Shut up about him and every other starter until the season is over.

He is one of the only assets that we could / would part with to get back some value.

I don't see how they can possibly trade him without getting a PG back. Next season's unrestricted FA's are CP3, then a big drop to maybe one or two players on Vasquez's level (Calderon, MAYBE Jack) and a bunch that aren't as good as Vasquez is. If we miss out on one of those guys, we're in a pretty bad spot for a season where we want to make a leap.

Him in the backcourt, Smith in the frontcourt.

I'd say you could part with Lopez, but maybe Monty/Dell do not.

It would have to be a trade where more pieces were moved for a number of reasons, one of which is your point, and the other is that his salary is so low it's just impossible to upgrade and match salaries when limiting to players other teams would part with.

They could, for instance, trade GV as part of an sign-and-trade for Jennings, which would fit with what you are talking about. There may need to be more depending on the Bucks' plans and limits on spending (self-imposed). They could trade GV and Aminu and stuff for a SF and stuff and forego the rest of the season.

Moving Smith (if he's not damaged) is easier for a few reasons.

Any Rose detractors specifically mention his major health issues and acknowledge Rose's talent.

Is a malcontent and coach killer who will never win anything because of this.

Hugely overrated at this point. Score-first point would not be a great fit with Gordon. Vasquez dishes at an elite level. I'm sure I'll have stats to back me up in the morning.
