What a shithead. Just go on ESPN. Davis is top 5 in almost every category for PFs. Duncan isn't even top 10 in most

I'm ok with Duncan, because there really is nobody who can dominate the post with such finesse and style like Timmy, but Griffin is a crock of shite. Guy can do nothing but dunk. In 4 years he's added nothing of substance to his arsenal. AD, Zach Randolph, Bosh, David Lee, Pau Gasol, Derrick Favors, Millsap, David West, Ibaka are all better than the backend of Lob City.

Aldridge/Love - new guard
Dirk/Duncan - old guard
Davis - rising star

I must be missing where a shot from 20 feet counts as more than a dunk.

Griffin is averaging 21.5 pts and making 53% of his attempts. His scoring is 3rd among PFs, but he is shooting about 100 percentage points better than both guys in front of him. That means he has attempted about 50 shots less than the two guys in front of him.

This is just crazy. Griffin is the 2nd best player on one of the top 5 teams in the league. He is a double/double player that puts up big numbers every night. I love Davis, but he doesn't have a strong enough history to make these kind of claims. His numbers are already starting to come back to reality and he still needs to grow a lot. If Griffin never got any better, he'd still be a top 20 player and an all-star almost every year. I'm hoping Davis becomes as good as him. That'd be a great foundation.

Just an insane list. If you called the Clippers and offered them any of these players straight up for Griffin, they'd laugh at you. There is just no way. I could do each individually, but just for example, you do realize Favors is averaging 13/9 for the worst team in the league, right?

Not that big of a deal. Davis has played what.. 14 games this season? And he wasn't that good last year.

I think he needs to play more games before people start ranking him over people who have been putting up good numbers for years.

in the league at this moment? Even if its 14 games into the season, he's top 5 because we're looking at currently. You can put in tim duncan as a legacy pick because he's still damn efficient playing ~27 minutes a game, but there's no way dirk is better than AD and there's no way kevin love isn't #1. The guy is averaging 24.1pts/13.7reb/4.2ast

ADs numbers have come down in scoring (but less shots and more efficiency) and rebounds, but his blocks/steals are still right about where it has been all season (peak 6, currently 5.6 total). He leads the league in bpg, and leads all big men in spg.

Blake Griffin hasn't improved since his rookie season.

He was good last year. He had one of the highest PERs for a teenager ever.

You've obviously have never seen Blake Griffin play if you think that. He literally couldn't make a shot outside of the paint his rookie year.

Is he ranking AD as a center?

AD is statistically better as a center vs a PF

In Chad Ford's chat this week, he had Davis the 4th best player in the league. At any position

That would be great if the question was about the best teenage players in the NBA.

I'm talking about his ability last year regardless of age.

And when I said he wasn't that good last year, I meant he wasn't good enough to be in the top 5 last year. He wasn't in that conversation.

no not top 5 but his PER was top 15 in the league if i'm not mistaken. definitely retarded to say he wasn't that good last year.
