Yes, he played bad 1.5 games after playing good the 3 before. He sucks.

He's been so bad that I'm legitimately convinced that he's throwing the series. People have been giving Kevin Love shite but Harrison Barnes is taking it to a whole new level

1) How about you actually make an argument for signing him instead of taking weak shots, especially since Barnes is apparently some can't-miss FA

2) Email your argument for Barnes to Daryl Morey and Les Alexander because surely he must be worth whatever it takes to bring him to Houston

You'd be happy, I know Pels fans would be happy, the entire league would be happy... even Houston (and by Houston, I mean you)

Barnes has been awful these past two games. But the two games before that, he averaged 16/8/2.5 while knocking down 60% of his 3's. He is playing against the best player in the world on the biggest stage there is and he has been up and down. If he has a great game 7, then nobody will probably remember those two games. He is a young, extremely talented wing in a league desperate for wing players, where teams have tons of money to spend. He is getting a max contract or taking a hometown discount to stay with the Warriors. I'd love for him to come here, but I get that he isn't the most exciting prospect. I've never seen people so obsessed with how much money a guy is going to get though. We all know that teams have money they have to spend this offseason, so why is it a big deal?

Regardless of Barnes, that's probably a good point. I think people are fixated on what we tied up in Gordon in the beginning and the Asik signing, etc. But it's a new day in the NBA in terms of money, or at least it seems so to me.

That dude is trash. Not talented, not good. Can't come through in the clutch, can't come through at all. That's the golden rule. If you can't help a team win, you helping a team lose. If I was Kerr or management, he gotta go. Him and iguodala

Yeah, money doesn't matter. It's not like giving Eric Gordon and Omer Asik much more money than they earned ever limited our options...I've said before if we feel compelled by Win Now to overpay for a FA, give $15 to Bazemore. It will be much easier to work around paying $15 for a starting SG than $20+ for a decent but not great 3 and D SF.

Is he even being guarded by Lebabyback? I know Draymond and Iggy have been guarding Lebonk. Even still, Letroll isn't some epic lockdown defender.

No he's guarded by the weakest perimeter defender on the opposing team night in and night out. I'd bet he takes more uncontested shots than anyone in the league. He's wide open all the time. When he signs somewhere else chances are he'll be expected to score a little more and will be getting much more attention from the opposition.

When Boom is making some of the best points in a thread, it's time to re-evaluate your self.

The only time I want to see Barnes in the Smoothie King center is when we are playing the team that was unwise enough to give him a max.

So far seems to be just a solid bench rotation guy. Still will see in time if he takes the next step

I love the argument "You guys are bashing him by using small sample size!" then counter by saying, "Look at this small sample size over here when he was good!"

How about we look at the entire body of work that says the guy has NEVER BEEN GOOD?

Career 11.6 PER. Career high of 13.4, where 15.0 is seen as average. Career playoff PER of 11.1 - which is 8.6 in 23 games this year by the way, so no, its not just 2 bad games.

Can not put one thing in the "above average" category for this guy. Not one, if we are being honest and objective.

I always ask this same question about lotto picks --- If he was drafted 28th and had the same exact career, how much would you be willing to pay him?

I do this because, with high lotto picks, we seem to believe that there is just some light that is more likely to go on. We give them more of a benefit of the doubt.

But objectively, this guy has had an average to below average start to his career and has shown no sign of really improving in any area over 4 years in the league, so the idea that he is going to somehow take a huge leap seems insane. At least to me
