Cowherd is one of the few sportscasters that allow to get under my skin. He's such a dick. And the Pels are not going to be part of any contraction. Primarily, because there will be no contraction (and the Pels aren't relocating either). The money is working out okay for the league now.

Which doesn't preclude any trades.
But yeah, I didn't expect him to pull any rabbits out of hats. I expected re-signing Asik and using the exceptions.

It's really hard to see many moves besides running it back that don't involve getting worse this season, which I don't think is an option.

I think the conventional wisdom is that we resign our guys, get an MLE wing, let them run in Gentry's system, and then reevaluate when we get close to the trade deadline.
At that time we are either rolling or treading water, and we know whether to make a major move or shed salary to be a player in 2016 FA.

i'd be perfectly fine with leaving the team as is and seeing what gentry can do with them. I would not see no moves this offseason as a disappointment
