So Crewz has on multiple occasions suggested that game 10 (November 12th against the baby Lakers) COULD be when Jrue makes his return to the Pellies...

TOMORROW IS GAME 10. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?

There's nothing that suggests hell be back soon, nor has he been practicing. He probably won't be back soon. My guess would be in December, but who knows?

Jrue was still in North Carolina as of yesterday.

Being surrounded by world class talent is something I cherish everyday. Thank you @HeatherOReilly 4 making our session fun and competitive!

On the plus side, Lauren did tweet this last week and she sounded in good spirits.

Currently testing the effect tootsie rolls have on jaw mobility after tumor resection. I think I'm onto something.

It would be so awesome if nobody said anything and then they announced him as a starter during the pre-game intros.

And just so y'all know- They are seriously thinking about starting Evans at SF upon his return, getting a few wins and boosting his trade value before moving him

So, a Hill off the bench role could be semi permanent

Pg- Jrue Holiday/ Tim Frazier/ Langston Galloway
SG- E'Twaun Moore/ Buddy Hield
SF- Tyreke Evans/ Solomon Hill
PF- Anthony Davis/ Terrance Jones/ Dante Cunningham
C- Omer Asik/ Alexi Ajinca

We might not win a championship, but still a fun team to watch.

The idea is to start Jones too and have a second unit of Frazier, Buddy, Hill, Asik and either DC or Galloway depending on big hand and matchup. They think that Tyreke and Jrue could help offset the loss of Asik in the starting lineup on the boards

I'm not sure how well it will offset the rebounding incompetence. Asik is the only player on this team capable of boxing out. The last 2 minutes last night shined a bright light on the Jones/Davis pairing and it was ugly on the glass.

There is no optimal option. Just a bunch of suboptimal ones

But Jrue and Tyreke should be a bigger offset than the dip of going from Asik to Jones

This team is still a legit SF and a rebounding big away from being a lock playoff contender. You can't hide all the weaknesses, no matter what rotations you use. You just try to find the best of the suboptimal

I can't stand the lack of using Asik. Drives me insane. Having more offense on the court should be even MORE reason to keep him out there. But I'm sure MM is right, they won't.

You can't play Asik and Hill. Or Asik and Reke. Once they get a real SF, he can start again. But it's just too hard when you have another guy who either teams don't respect or needs an open lane to be effective
