It's mostly unrealistic ideas just thrown on the wall to see what sticks. Bleacher Report on a name site.
The Amare talk is just absurd. So the Hornets should take back a 30 year old Amare who still has 3/$64 left on his contract, has uninsurable knees, and has looked like a shell of his former self? Oh and he is arguably the worst defensive starter in the league. That will get the Hornets into the playoffs next year.
Boozer is another one that is a Bower type move. Grab a guy who is paid like a star, but hasn't been able to be a legit number 2 option with DWill and Rose. Why not just draft Jared Sullinger in the lottery? He's a short, below the rim player, who will rebound and is also not 30 with 3/$46 million left on his contract.
I will say I do like his thoughts on Anderson/Asik. Add those two to EG and whatever they get in the draft and that's an interesting set of pieces.
Not sure how realistic getting Anderson/Asik is. Both are RFA on capped out teams, but I imagine there will be a healthy market for both. Anderson could get a max or near max offer- maybe starting at 4/$45. He's been that good this year.
