Len
McLemore
Porter
Noel
Bennett
Oladipo
Burke

This is a fact whether we trade the pick or not. If we are trading it, it is because someone wants one of those players.

Agree or disagree.

What about him? We aren't drafting him.

Only other option I could see is MCW, since they DID at least work him out. If they decide to go PG, it's a matter of preference for them b/w him and Burke. Personally, I would prefer then didn't draft MCW, but I think it's a very slight possibility.

If we pick Bennett, I hope to God that we've got a deal already in place.

Agree, wish it was one of 6 though. I don't really want Len.

I find it interesting that Jimmy Smith is really on the Anthony Bennett bandwagon and thinks we would play him at SF.

I don't think Jimmy Smith knows anything, but he does know the team better than any of us (probably).

We do have a history of taking players and converting them to play somewhere else.

Personally, I think Bennett CAN play SF, especially on the offensive end, if he puts in the work. But I know that is an unpopular opinion here.

Seems to be a consensus top 6 prospect. CJ isn't. I know we also spoke with Bennett at the combine. I'm sure we did CJ too but I don't know about it.

If Bennett could effectively play SF, it would not be a bad pick at all. I have serious doubts as to whether he can though. Offensive end is one thing, he still has to play defense (as we would not have someone on the court to cover for him).

That is clearly the question. Guy has maybe the best offensive skillset in the entire draft. He COULD be an elite offensive player.

Can he play defense? Can he defend 3s? I'm not talking Durant and Lebron...no one can really guard them. I'm talking all of the middle of the road 3s.

If he can, I'm on board, because they wouldn't be able to guard him. I just don't know, I haven't seen him play enough.

I really like Bennett too, they could probably make the defense work(have him d up on the weaker player on opposing teams, whether it be the sf or pf). I feel like MCW wouldn't be a huge upgrade over Vasquez.

Personally, I disagree. I don't think either have a shot at being the pick at 6. But you never know I guess.

Why do you not think McCollum has a shot? Not saying you are wrong just curious. I honestly think he is the best player in this draft.

McCollum

most mocks have him going between 9 and 13.

1) why is the board so much higher on him than others?

2) is there anything that makes people on here think that the hornets will take him? monty quote, dell quote, anything?

Where is the quote for any player being taken?
