@nakiahogan: #Pelicans SG Eric Gordon will play tonight vs. Twolves after sitting out last three games with a hip injury.

Put your hate for the guy, your hate for the contract, whatever...aside. The team is better with him in the lineup.

I got 3 straight serious answers... much better than being on the OT.

It'll be interesting to see how Monty distributes minutes going forward. Through all of these injuries we really got to see the versatility of our players and our lineups. A lot of options going forward and I agree with an earlier post, we are a better team with EG (EJ) in the lineup.

Not when you take money out if the equation. If it's would you rather Gordon or Roberts get minutes, the choice is pretty easy. I hope this doesn't cut into Tyresus' minutes though.

Most Gordon's minutes get split up between Rivers/Roberts/Morrow. And Gordon is better than those guys. That's not arguable.

With EG back we just need to shorten our bench. I started another thread about it. It really confuses my why Monty has 11 guys consistently play when guy 10 and 11 are Roberts and Stiesma.

We have enough position versatility in Jrue, EG, and Reke tgat Roberts never needs to play bc all those guys can play the point.

AFA playing well allows us to use him at the 4 for stretches of time.

It isn't arguable at all. Gordon takes a lot of pressure off of guys like Jrue, Reke, etc when he is on the floor. Sometimes they don't need it, but take the game for Houston for example. We win that game with Gordon in the lineup.

It comes down to Roberts, Morrow, and Rivers seeing increased minutes while Gordon was down. Would you rather those three, or Gordon? That answer is easy, and isn't arguable.

Agreed. 2 of the 3 (jrue, eg, reke) should be on the floor at all times. No real need for Roberts or Morrow to see the floor.
