Every FA PG/SG in the league would want to play with AD and Dwight in the same front court. Have 4 or 5 shooters rotating all game.

Houston would most likely hang up on us if we offered that. Anderson is a good start and if Asik has a buddy on the inside, perhaps, but there is no way they settle for that when they can probably still get quite a bit for him.

Howard is not a super star. His value is only perceived. His contract is up next year and he will sign with the Knicks. Throw in some draft picks and get Howard to New Orleans for a full year, that's the only chance we have at signing him long term.

The only positive outcome from that trade, is I bet you Dwight could get Gentry fired.

I believe he also has a player option that could get him out at the end of this season.

Dwight is still a good player. Houston ignores him on offense and treats him like he's Ben Wallace. He can still play and is a great teammate (i know most don't want to believe that).

He's on the wrong side of an injury-plagued, high volume career. History doesn't suggest he'll be reliable moving forward. He may be solid, but not at all worth a large off season deal.

This would scare me about Dwight more than any of the bad team mate crap that people keep talking about. If he's healthy it's stupid to pretend hes not an elite center.
