Because we all know they're always watching pelicans talk obviously as they always do for advice

It's depressing to think about how horrible past contract moves have set us up with nothing to add a third star. If we don't trade for Asik we could have drafted Sam Decker as Houston did. And not have that awful Asik contract. So maybe Sam is involved with the cousins trade, and he isn't available to be part of a potential PG trade (Yea PG thread) but we would still have at least something to add to all the first round picks we would need to get George. Maybe reke? Maybe somebody else we could've drafted had we not traded away every pic we had since Austin Rivers. Goddamnit I hate Dell Demps, outside getting Cousins, he's garbage.

Sorry to rehash what everybody already very well understands, whiskey just makes me extra angry sometimes

All this franchise needed was for the twolves to lose 4 more games in 2011-2012 and select Damian Lillard with the 6th pick.

I'm hoping that between Ferry and no more pressure from AD to fill the hole at center that Demps can make smarter moves.

Whiskey & the GA-6 results . . . too soon? Lol.

Just yanking your chain. Hopefully the brass can make some smart moves making us competitive and keeping Boogie around long term. It will be interesting to see what can be done with seemingly limited options.

I don't understand the downvotes on OP's post. He's right to be angry and so should the rest of you. We missed the playoffs with Boogie and Davis and kept the terrible coach and GM in place. Meanwhile the NBA is a flurry of trade excitement and Dell's standing there doing nothing.

But yeah. Be mad at the OP. He's just telling the truth.

Post-Frazier BUMP for a fricking second. But Pelicans Talk wants to downvote posters mad at Dell's idiotic trades...

it's pretty mindblowing how bad Del has been at GM

no vision or structure

terrible asset management

insane FA errors (Solomon Hill was just mind-numbing)

on top of that, we've had bad luck (Jrue's injury, Rybot's gf dying/injuries, Asik falling off a cliff right after we acquire him)

the only reason we're not the laughing stock of the league is b/c (1) the Knicks exist and (2) we defied all odds and got AD
