it's been pretty well known for almost a year that these would be the 2 choices for deron

nola can offer more than new jersey on the court, but financially we can't compete with them

unless we amnesty jack, we can't match what dallas can offer, and otherwise, dallas is superior (hometown, better amenities, better city, better teammates, etc)

this basically comes down to whether deron wants to get more money or go to a possible title team. nola has almost 0 shot
