How many guys who are All NBA and perceived as a top talent in the league can't crack 30 wins until their 6th NBA season?

24-58
22-44
28-54
28-54
29-53
33-49

That is pathetic and Cousins is the common denominator. Granted that FO isnt the greatest, but he has played on teams with tyreke, rudy gay, darren collison, ike thomas etc. Cousins is not conducive to winning in his current state.

How many budding superstars' teams have been perpetually bad for 6 seasons straight without showing any improvement? Can anyone answer?

Kevin Love's T'wolves showed improvement, but they were still pretty bad until his final year. But yes, cousins' kings are just awkward.

Drafted 2008: 24-58
2009: 15-67
Love has talks of top 5 PF in 2010: 17-65
2011: 26-40
2012: 31-51
2013: 40-42

Cousins plugged in an played great for Team USA last summer. Coach K raved about him. Boogie played great and pretty much owned the gold medal game.
That is practicing and playing with zero problems
No off the court problems ever. Great in the community. Donates and is involved with charities and has children camps.

How many can give you 26/12

Team USA dude. They have an average margin of victory of 30+ points. He also can't get away with his shite with K and the 10 guys who are better than him. Also coach K almost picked Mason frickin Plumlee over him

Show me the guys out there working to make their team better. Who's resilient when it's not easy. He's not a team guy. There has been some issue with him each year he's been in the league

Massive understatement. The Jimmer draft day trade might be the worst trade of the last decade. The Maloofs made Shinn look like a Mark Cuban level spender those last few years and Vivek is insane. The Kings have had some nice players, unfortunately, like the Pels, those players have rarely ever fit together in a way that makes any sense.

Let's not forget that in Malone's second year the Kings were playing good ball until Cousins went out. Then Vivek stepped in and fired him because he wouldn't play 4 on 5. So they fired the coach who was having the most success in a decade and was getting the most out of the franchise player. And, for as much as we shite on Monty and Gentry, the Kings during Cousins's time there have had Paul Westphal, Keith Smart, Malone (good coach), Ty Corbin, and a mailed in George Karl. I'd take Monty and Gentry over all those guys, except Malone, every single time.

Yes, Cousins has issues. Yes, he would be a disaster on a rudderless team like the Pels. I want to see him on a team that isn't insane and incompetent before declaring he's a lost cause. And, again, for the $$ he's getting over the next two years, if I believe in my team culture/infrastructure, I take a swing for him every time.

I tend to agree with you. But I'm pretty surprised that you're on this side of the argument.

Definitely would have had you figured for a Cousins supporter.

I had always considered him Derrick Coleman 2.0 until Team USA. He seems to want to win, and I'd be intrigued as to what kind of damage AD and Cousins could do in a league gearing up for small ball. But even if he's motivated to win now he still needs to be managed like no other player in the league. If I'm Boston and I have no star I take the risk, but if I'm the Pels and I already have AD, I'd save my ammo for a perimeter player.

It looks awesome on paper until he gets here and everyone realizes what a piece of fricking shite he is. I don't want that guy to have any influence on AD.

Cousins doing well on Team USA is about as important as Carmelo being Olympics MVP. We so how that's worked out for the Knicks.

One dimensional black holes on offense never win shite. Sorry boom.

Cousins keeping the bigs off AD would be huge. I would give someone else's right arm for cousins and ad together on the pels. And a healthy jrue, that team would he awesome.

1. Jrue Holliday
2. Tyreke Evans
3. Quincy Pondexter
4. Anthony Davis
5. Demarcus Cousins

We would still need a bench but our big 3 would be elite

Tyreke cannot be our starting shooting guard. Gotta pick up a quality outside knockdown shooter if ww had that proposed lineup. If you had a Reddick that lineup would be deadly
