It's easy to say let Gentry go (which I'm all for) but is there a legitimate replacement and do you trust the GM to find and hire him?

I'm sure they have made the decision already, and that decision to keep everyone.

They may look in the general direction for a bit, but they will never focus on the Pels.

Both will be back imo unless AD and Boogie voice their displeasure to Loomis

And that's really the problem. Loomis screwed the monty debacle. If Pels clear house, they also will need to remove Loomis from basketball operations. Pels need someone to focus on basketball 365 days per year..not 132 days per year.

I don't tink a decision has been made. I think they will be meeting this week/next week to review the season's performance and a decision will be made subsequently.

No clue if it involves work or not, but sounds a bit like it. Maybe the staff is preparing for their end of season review.

Nate McMillan's son and an assistant coach with the Pels for the past several seasons. He did a podcast interview with Kumar a few months back and he's apparently the one that's been working with Dante on his 3.

I guess he could be staying up all night working on his personal self evaluation for the year end review. We know how much this FO is wowed by charts. However, I'd like to think he's helping with video break downs/scouting for Free Agency prep. Does something like the Clippers losing make them have to evaluate new players? After the Clippers lost I thought about not just CP3 returning but trying to come up with a convoluted 3 team S&T between the Clips/Pels/Spurs.

Free agency doesn't start until July. No reason to be pulling all nighters at this point unless it is linked to something coming up soon. If it is work related, then I would have to think the staff is helping Gentry prepare for the end of season review and his plan for moving forward.

You do realuze that Dell is just ybe fall guy right. That became clear in the Monty firing. Shazier pointed out in his piece that Monty found out he was fired before Demps knew.
And how Demps looked like someone had just given him a script to read during his sudden press conference.
