Hornets rookies Anthony Davis (concussion) and Austin Rivers (sprained left index finger) are both out for tonight's @ESPN game vs. 76ers.

Monty said Darius Miller will start at shooting guard, replacing Austin Rivers. It will be Miller's first NBA regular season start

@shattertheglass: New Orleans forward Anthony Davis remains a game-time decision for tonight's contest against Philadelphia. #STG

At this point, you have to think one of two things. Either:

1) Davis is still having concussion symptoms and we need to be a little concerned.

or

2) Monty was right and the league's concussion policy has gone completely absurd.

Also...

Come on.

Even minor concussions can take a while to get over especially if they want 100% healthy which seems to be the standard since they are using baseline neurological tests. Jason Smith missed about 20 games last season after Detroit gave him a concussion.
