He's one of the former Hornicans I have actively rooted for ever since he left. He gave his all for this team and busted his arse every night. Loved his heart and toughness and he is a legitimately awesome guy off the court. The one good thing about seeing the Warriors win this year will be seeing him get a ring.

He only opted out of his final year to go play with the Pacers for 2/20

I remember how crushed I was to see West get hurt against the Jazz a few games before the playoffs. Carl Landry did a magnificent job stepping in against the Lakers in the first round. We stole game 1 @ LA, will never forget that. Jarret jack also hit a big shot that series to win game 5 I believe.
2011 was definitely the season for the Mavs but I always wondered what if D west doesn't get hurt right before the playoffs.
