Since march 12:

13.8 PPG
5.0 Rebs
2.2 Ast
44% FG
47% point
81% FT

He seems to have developed his overall offensive game and has shown to contribute in other areas besides scoring and boards(like asts)

He's been very consistent in a 25-30 min role

I have no problem with Luke running with the 2s for 12-15 minutes a night. He can shoot the rock. If he can pull down a couple of boards than great.

Just out of curiosity, how bad are his defensive stats?

Sure , if we want to commit minimally to this team and barely make the playoffs at best year on year out.

He's not an NBA player. He's a end of bench guy on a shitty team.

Agree with that completely. My above comment is taking the cap into account and wanting to gear up for '17.

I mean yeah he'd be a 1(MAYBE 2) year stop gap but to say he's not an NBA player is BS considering some of the end of bench guys on even good teams.

Dudes improved himself a good deal

No we seen Luke do this before play well at the end of season but con never contribute during meaningful games.

I think we've learned that Babbitt is a serviceable replacement for Anderson.

Luke is what he is. He's better than a Specialist to spread the floor at the 4 but he shouldn't get more than 15-20 minutes a game. He's much better than what I thought he'd be after his stint in Portland

His Defensive Rating is 112.5. Fwiw Cunningham and Ryno's DRTGs were both 111.3.

The best for a qualified player was both Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard at 94.9. On the other hand, the worst for a qualified player was Bojan Bogdanovic (Brooklyn) at 114.6.

So, his defense has sucked major arse this season. Hell, the whole team has sucked on that end (108.9 rating, which is 27th in the league), but that's no surprise to anyone who has watched at least 50 or more games this season.

For a $1,227,286 team option? He won't replace Ryno, especially if Ryno stays...
but he probably earned his spot next season.

Considering their numbers are pretty similar, I'd prefer Babbitt over Ryno, especially considering he costs much less.

The numbers are not similar. There's a reason Babbitt makes the league minimum and Ryno will make 12+ million.

Fair point. I was looking at the per 36 min stats and Ryno has Luke beat by 6 ppg essentially. I guess my point is, do you really think it's worth spending a lot of money on Ryno? He is just as bad on defense as Babbitt. Both rely heavily on the 3 point shot as well, which Luke has a better career percentage than Ryno at (granted Luke has taken way less shots but also has way less minutes).

I'd much rather save the money for an experienced 3 and D player on the market than spend 12+ on Ryno.
