I want Webber to explain how its worse than fricking Thunder or Wizards. Also, its not worse than Magic, Heat, or Raptors either IMO but at least those are arguable.

I've been on the Brass bandwagon since it was first mentioned. I won't hate Pelicans but I'm not a fan of Krewe.

There aren't enough Grantland articles and Youtube videos in the world to convince me Pelicans isn't one of the worst names i've ever heard.

No im not arguing that there aren't other awful team names out there. There definitely are.
But the "everybody was doing it mom," type of excuses doesn't justify a name as horrible as Pelicans.
We deserve better. Especially when there are so many awesome Louisiana/New Orleans related names that could be chosen

As long as we can be assured it won't be Krewe, Revelers, or any name another pro team has I wouldn't mind. I don't see the hate for Pelicans though. I mean, there are pro teams named the Ravens, Eagles, Cardinals etc...
