Chris Paul's Remarks on Jrue Holiday

"I like him. No, I love Jrue's game," former Hornets point guard Chris Paul, told the Philadelphia Inquirer earlier this year. "Me and Chauncey Billups actually talk about him all the time. We always talk about the young point guards in the league. I think a lot of times he actually gets overlooked.
"I love his game, I love his poise, and I love his athleticism. I love the way Jrue plays the game."
High praise, coming from the greatest player in Hornets-Pelicans franchise history.

Cp3 can't handle his length. So excited to play him next season

Not bitter anymore towards CP3. The Clippers look dedicated to winning now, and will probably do everything in their power to do so. It's not just about the money.
I have a lot of respect for him too, and to hear him praising Jrue Holiday gets me really pumped for this season and the future. We have a very nice young PG everyone.

Can't fricking wait to see what happens if we get matched up with the Clippers in the first round.

Glen Rice?

Jrue Holiday is fun to watch, already an all star at 23. We got a good one

Not a shot. Only guy with even a little bit of an argument is Larry Johnson (Alonzo Morning and Glen Rice only played 3 seasons with the Hornets and played less that 25% of their career there)

Just because he only played 3 years doesn't mean he wasn't the best. He averaged more than Paul ever did in his worst season and top it off averaging 26 one year. Prime Rice was better than Prime Paul. Also led the Hornets just as far as Paul (game 7 of the semis).

Chris Paul averaged 21 pts, 12 ast, 2 reb, 2 steals in 07-08... Those numbers are off the charts... Glen Rice could score all day but involving the other players around you makes me think Paul was the better player.

B. Davis averaged 23 pts, 7.5 ast, 4.3 reb and 2.4 steals (let the league) in 03-04
Hornets made the playoffs every year he played for team and went to the 2nd round twice. Paul is great, but he never had a monster game like this one in the playoffs (LINK )..

Take a poll of every GM and the league and ask who is the better PG and who they would rather have on their team. I'm pretty sure I know the answer.

Isn't B. Davis retired? Ask them who was more talented and completely underperformed their entire career..
Btw, they were debating who was a better Hornet. I think B. Davis is way underrated and was just as good if not better than Paul was. His numbers and accolades back that up..

The more salient and meaningful question is who you want to have on your team. Anything else if pretty much irrelevant.

I watched Davis from the beginning of his career and met him when he moved to N.O. Watched every game. Same with Paul. Paul was the better player to have on a contending team.

Yikes.
