Agreed. Combine that with an opening for small ball 4 minutes, due to Dante's injury, and there's an opening for Cheick. I'm curious to see how ready he is.

The only trade "likely" to happen before December 15th is Monroe. And I put likely in quotes because I don't think they'll get much more of a return by waiting, not that I think it's likely to happen.

I'd still be surprised if he got any meaningful minutes soon. Most of the time when young guys are sent to the D-League, its just to get them some run so they aren't planted on the bench for months at a time.

So when they get called up, its not necessarily because their role with the big team is changing.
