What's the deal adding in Holiday's 4 yr/41 million deal to the books?

What do we have to work with this off-season now?

PT is busy, it fell to the 2nd page already. LINK

I calculate $4.5 million (work shown in link) the BSS guys are tweeting $5 million. I'm guessing they aren't taking the $490k minimum roster hold when you have less than 12 players.

I don't think you answered in the other thread (and I don't remember which one I asked in): If we were to include Vasquez and Smiht in a deal ($4.4m combined salary), with our $5m in cap space, we'd be able to take in $5m + (1.5 * 4.4) = $11.6m, right? I know we can trade players and take back 150% of their salary, but I'm off on if we can combine that with the cap space we have. Pretty sure that we could.

Demps told me to tell y'all to thank me for all the advice I gave him to trade the pick.

I'm not usually a "I told you so" type person, but I think I was officially the first person the scream to trade the pick. I know I wanted a DeMar DeRozan type player, but we put our heads together, and did better and got us an All Star now.

So, you're welcome.

You may not be an I told you so type but you are an "I said it first" type But you were right in pointing out the crappy draft when we were all busy trying to talk ourselves into it

Thank you. I consider you "The Mayor" of Pelicans Talk. Maybe this can get me an invite to your mansion?
