Rondo nails the open 3. Good to see.

Deep 3 by Rondo because why not.

Omg boogie did NOTHING.... I forgot how frustrating this is gonna be with the refs hating him.

The Boogie hate and the general way refs officiate big men and give so much leeway for guards and SF's is my biggest existential worry for this team existing in this era of this league.

I mean people(including myself) kinda dismiss it, but Rondo has been steadily improving from three. Shot 37.6% last season.

Maybe we can realistically expect 1 to 2 of those a game TBH.

Getting into the penalty regularly will be big for this team. Allows rest and easy points.

Speak of the devil, being in the penalty turns a Rondo missed 3 into 2 Boogie FTs as he's fouled trying to rebound.

Anyone know why Grits hasnt played?

Ik Tony Allen has no reason to play, but i hvent heard anything about Grits.

Also, im pretty sure Ajinca is out cause of birth of his child.

Boogie improved defensively/on the boards as the half went on.

This would be a 20+ point lead if Chicago wasn't hitting 3s like the Warriors

First half stats from the "big 4":

Davis 20/6/2 with 2 blocks
Cousins 20/7/3 with 1 block
Holiday 7/3/1
Rondo 5/3/2

The big 2 stat line is absurd.

Pels with 69 in a half, impressive. Hehehe.

Was going to ask if Clark was going to play, but apparently he has 6 minutes played in the game. I'm sure the backups will play most of the 2nd half, so definitely want to see him and Miller get involved.

What makes it even more absurd is it felt and looked so effortless most of the time.

I know its Chicago, I know its pre-season, but there doesn't seem to be any reason this can't continue when playing a vast majority of teams.

Wow the difference watching a Finch/Rondo offense is palpable. Look at the assist spread in the 1st half.

Like most teams they don't have a guy that can guard one of AD/DC, let alone both. As more teams go small ball even packing the paint with 4 defenders isn't enough to reliably stop AD/DC.
