In like 3 months. Until Jrue plays better, no one will be interested in him. If Jrue were playing well (like, say, to ~80% of what he's getting paid), I don't think the Suns would be interested in him anyway. They're not going to want a vet that will help them get many wins.

No worries there.

I was going to post this. I’m not sure what he’s suggesting here.

Coach Earl Watson fired.
Pretty obvious he wants to be traded. I don't think that there's any way to take it another way unless he kills himself or becomes an astronaut and moves to the moon.

Wait. So they weren't losing on purpose? They're going to be firing their head coach every three games this season?

Realistically, is a deal worth making if we won't be able to re-sign him after his deal ends? You gotta believe that Money will tied up to Cousins, Davis, and Holiday and Bledsoe will be too expensive to keep.

Well it's tough to tell sometimes with your Saints talk tomfoolery.

I think the only hope we have of trading Jrue is for a lesser version of a bad contract. Like maybe if Hardaway is viewed as a disappointment the Knicks would rather have the bigger disappointment so to speak. They were interested in Jrue before, except the kid they just drafted sounds a lot like Jrue. But that’s the kind of trade we could make. Someone that made the same overpay but a tier lower player.
As for Bledsoe this is exactly what we need. Him costing Phoenix leverage so they take a lower price and maybe trade before anyone else has more serious interest. I think part of why Demps wanted special treatment from the league to keep Crawford on his current deal was he plans to make a trade sooner rather than later that either lets him keep Crawford or he needs Crawford’s voidable deal as filler.

Agreed, but I think the Pels had to be expecting to pay the tax eventually when they traded for Bogie. Bledsoe/Jrue/Solo/AD/Boogie is a team that a normal coach should win 50 games with. It's not the highest IQ team, but that's too much talent to not make the playoffs and win a series.

Moore, Ajinca and a couple of 1st?

I'm not ready to give up on Jrue yet. I still think he'll return to being a really good defender, decent 3pt shooter, and OK enough being a 2nd (sometimes 3rd) option running the offense.

Too hot and cold, bro. This team needs consistency at the 1/2.

At least. I think you would have to add Diallo too. Maybe multiple 1sts (thats what Phoenix has been reported to be asking for in the past)
I'm hoping we can convince Asik to medically retire. It would solve so many issues. Does anyone know what the cap hit would be if we wait until the deadline to stretch Asik? I'm thinking I remember almost $8 mil coming off the cap immediately and like 2.5 mil being stretched over 7 years? Someone correct me

Even if he returns to form the only way his contract isn’t a problem is if Rondo works out as a low cost starter for the next several years. If you trade for Bledsoe he’ll need to get paid eventually too and that’s when you’d need to try and cash in Jrue for someone making a bit less like Hardaway.

woah thats a big domino. you could justify that tweet saying maybe he doesn't want to be at like a family function or something but to fire Watson within an hour of that tweet is too coincidental.
But in my mind, Watson's departure was either to appease Bledsoe or Bledsoe liked Watson and already knew he was going to be fired when he tweeted
whatever the case its not good for Phoenix.
