You talking close to 2-3 billion dollars. With saints, pelicans, TV, car dealerships, banks, Benson towers. I'd be fighting to, some lady comes in and walks herself into that. Us common folk fight worse over small inheritance money. Gonna be ugly, NFL might force a sale, if they can

I'm no lawyer, but if their case is built around Benson being incompetent, if he passes the test then this would go away before dirty laundry gets to be aired, no? He's certainly not the most agile mind anymore, but it's not like they only wheel him out from the nursing home for public appearances.

Tom Benson just paid what - $350 million for a franchise that would sell for over a BILLION today - less than 3 years later?

No way in Hell does this happen.
First, the league doesn't have the legal right to force a sale. This isn't even close to being a "Clippers" situation. Benson hasn't done anything "detrimental to the league" and a succession of administration is in place.
Secondly, a District Judge in Orleans Parish (namely, Reese) is going to bend over backwards to kill this suit.

According to the forbes rankings it would be between 650-700 million. Doubling an investment in 3 years is pretty damn good. Now if the NBA would let the new owner move them it might sell for a billion.

The fact that he made them print it big enough so he could read it seems to be pretty compelling evidence of competence. Being manipulated into cutting off your family by a younger woman is not the same thing as being mentally incompetent. Although Gayle trying to give Benson the diabeetus seems like it should be attempted murder.
