I see a lot of teams are getting New Jersey templates. While nothing is wrong with ours, I think they could use a little spicing up.

I like the Mardi Gras and Nola one

Sort of. The league is switching from Adidas to Nike for uniforms.

quote:

So when will the new Nike uniforms be revealed?

No unveiling dates have been announced. According to Nike, teams will release their basic white and colored uniforms "this summer," with alternate designs slated to be revealed "in the coming months." Nike has also said there will be "a major launch in early fall."

...Will every team be getting new uniforms?

It depends on what you mean by "new." Every team will be changing over from Adidas to Nike, which means there will be leaguewide changes in tailoring, fabrics and so on. The information that Nike provided today included mention of larger armholes and a "tweaked collar shape." The Nike logo will also be added to all jerseys and shorts (except for the Hornets, who'll be wearing the Jordan Brand logo because Michael Jordan owns the team).

We know that some teams will definitely be getting new uniform designs. But many teams will likely be sticking with their basic designs, or will be making extremely minor changes -- an alternation to the striping on the side of the jersey, say, or a change in the typeface used for the players' names on the back of the jersey. Keep in mind that some teams, like the Kings and Jazz, have introduced new uniforms just in the past year or two, so it isn't surprising that they'd stick with those designs.

Since the Pelicans' uniforms are somewhat new, I'm guessing they'll be one of the teams seeing mostly minor tweaks.

You thought wrong!

I know about the nike change and I've seen probably 10 teams already announce New Jersey designs. I know some people are "on the inside" here so wanted to see if anyone had any inside info

Except one of the teams listed (Kings) literally got all new uniforms.

If there was any sort of change, there'd be a massive 5+ page thread open at the top. Come on now.

I hope so, but doesn't look like it.

Personally not a big fan of the pel's uniforms. I remember when the uniforms had yet to be showcased and Jrue Holiday had called them "dope", my expectations were very high, needless to say I was disappointed.

We aren't but we should. They def need to use the Crescent City Basketball logo more. It bums me out that there is a lot of potential marketing wise but we don't use our logos properly.

I wish we would scratch the Navy Unis and do something different. It seems like we never wear those.

There's gonna be a white, blue, red, and Mardi Gras jersey. Nothing will change but maybe they might make the font bigger just to make you think they might actually care about fan opinion. But That's it
