NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that guard Tyreke Evans is expected to miss 3-5 weeks with a strained right hamstring.

"Tyreke injured his hamstring playing pickup basketball out of town last week,” stated General Manager Dell Demps. “He is back in New Orleans rehabbing with our medical staff. Hopefully, he will be cleared to play before the season-opener.” LINK

And I remember last season, he had an injury that was supposed to keep him out for 2 weeks and he ended up playing the next game. I'd bet it's closer to a 3 week injury than a 5 week. Still, really wanted to see him get some preseason work in with Jrue.

Bandwagoners always jump ship at the first sign of trouble. He probably turns off games where we're losing at the end of the 3rd quarter.
