Trail Blazers and Golden State are the worst IMO

Why?

I was sitting watching the GS vs. Hornets the other night and someone They said it looks like there is a pumpkin on their jersey. I have to agree when they were gold logo on blue jersey it looks like the Warriors have a pumpkin on the front.

Pelicans logo is nice, not outstanding though. My main gripe deals with the blue in the logo. It's too hard to tell where the actual pelican is in the logo.

Because they have "NEW ORLEANS" with a background of blue in the logo, its easy to blend the body of the pelican with the background of the name. Thus the pelican tends not to stand out. If they made the background color behind NEW ORLEANS red, then it would be 100% better.

You have no taste. Those uniforms were awful. The ones now are decent:

Old (and terrible):

New (and better):

Here, I did a really quick adjustment to the logo. Pelican stands out much more.

Also, how can you hate on these?

Those uniforms are great-looking.

Although I actually kind of liked their old uniforms, the new uniforms are better:

I can't help but feel its similar to the Hawks with Gold instead of silver.

I do like the other logos. Congrats!

They are a young team with talent, and will be fun to watch grow over the years. I see them as a playoff team starting next season, and if not for Gordon being out for so many games earlier, they'd be well on there way for the playoffs this year.

What does this have to do with a permanent logo?

For those of us who are true fans and have stuck with the team since coming to New Orleans, we'd support them no matter what.

Again, so you support them with a crap logo means you would also support them with a good one, why not have a damn good one.

Didn't read entire thread, but logo is very busy looking IMO..

Why do so many NBA logos have a basketball in them? You don't see this in the NFL (Jets only) or MLB... A lot of the logos would look better without it if you ask me

Not true. In the MLB many teams have "roundel" or round logos, and HALF of them have baseballs or bats or something baseball related in the logo itself. Look:

Round or roundel logos:

Rangers
Mariners
A's
Yankees
Twins
Cubs
BlueJays (their new logo... not shown here)
Astros (their new logo... not shown here)
Mets

Teams with baseball references (a baseball, a diamond, a bat, etc.):

Yankees
Cardinals
Pirates
Brewers
Giants
Nationals
Dodgers
Mets
Padres
Rockies
Rangers
Mariners
Phillies
Blue Jays
Twins
Rays

So you were way off. Literally half of the teams have baseball references in their logos.

And you were a little off with the NFL, too. 5 teams have football references:

Jets
Bucs (there is a football on the flag)
Raiders (the guy is wearing a helmet)
Dolphins (the dolphin is wearing a helmet)
Browns (their logo is a football helmet)

I think the new Pelicans logo is easily in the top half of the NBA logos.

There are a handful of awesome logos. My favorite is the Bulls, also really like the Celtics and Grizzlies.

Then there are several good logos and I would put the Pels in that group.

Then there are several decent but kind of generic logos.

Lastly there are several godawful logos such as the Wizards (easily the worst), Raptors, Thunder, Heat, Magic, etc.

The Golden Gate bridge is one of the greatest architectural achievements of all time. That logo is simply legendary
Then they should have rebranded to the Golden State Bridges, because that logo and those colors don't look warrior-like in any way shape or form.

Put me down with those who think it's one of the worst.

again missing the point and resorting to meaningless drivel in an attempt to insult.

There is absolutely zero reason to "settle" and the logo should be judged on it's own without comparing it to other logos.

The smartest kid in a special ed class is still a retard etc etc.

The Nets rebrand is awful

i fully disagree. their new logo is awesome

the raptorz/grizz expansion started the era of the shitty, busy, and cartoony logos. i don't really like any of them

the Nets rebrand into stylish simplicity was awesome. i was hoping that we'd go that route. but we did the opposite
