I don't hate Alexis I just wish he could be like that more often

Looks like he is showcasing himself...a few more games like that, Philly will be throwing in the first round pick!

_________ playing well (enter any big man on the roster playing next to AD) seems to be the biggest issue nowadays.

It's like being an avg looking guy standing next to fricking Tom Brady/ Ashton Kutcher... by contrast you look like absolute shite

I thought he was pretty bad. He did a good job defending without fouling. But he kept throwing the ball away after rebounding. Throwing the ball away as he was going out of bounds with wide open teammates. He dropped a rebound out of bounds in the beginning of 4th. In the 1st, some 6'8 guy grabbed a rebound over him and they got second chance points. He jacked up a few low percentage 19 footers early in the clock.
His stats weren't bad and he did defend well. But he wasn't good.

I bet you're a glass half empty kind of guy.

quote:He played well overall. He had 3 TOs in 35 min. The air ball in the 4th was when his arm was hacked by Randolph and he got 2 FTs.

I thought he played very well for a guy who hasn't played in over a month.
Everyone knew Memphis would make a run in the 4th. What bothered me most in the game was the officiating in the final 15 minutes or so, and the missed free throws at the very end that could have sealed the game one or two possessions before we finally extended it to 4 with seconds remaining.

When Alexis is in position he can stop broken plays at the rim that our guards and wings break down. He rebounds very inconsistently. He doesn't give a shite every play and has no business being that lazy. It's aggravating as hell to watch him play. When he takes his time offensively he's average at best.
So I understand why they won't play him at all when he's a defensive liability and can't always make sound decisions offensively. And a lot of it is just effort.
Edit: with that being said I hope he plays more like this last game. We need someone other than dante and terrence.
