Addressing the Pelicans 2017 Free Agency and future spending

Looking at the Pelicans future salary cap
It looks like the front office will ideally bank $80M+ per year in the future on AD, Boogie, and Jrue. What will the rest of the team look like as the salary cap and luxury tax increase over the coming years?

Redick may be too pricy, but that would be awesome. He and Buddy's games are honestly pretty similar.

If I'm the Pels, I do whatever I can to get Teague or Hill in FA without giving up the big 3.

I disagree that Dante declines his option
They'll have bird rights on casspi and no way to sign a better option than him, so I'm hoping they re sign him
package ajinca and the 2018 first after this years draft and I bet someone good is gettable. get lucky on a d-leaguer and there's your team

Cant afford them and they still dont address a need if you're keeping jrue. If you're spending that money than you need a wing
Terrence Jones or Montiejunas need to net us a cheap, controllable wing player

unless they find another dumb team to trade with asik and ajinca make it impossible to carry his roster spot going forward. That 3.5MM is definitely going to be needed

Unload Asik's contract as soon as possible, that's number one in my opinion. After that, lock up Cousins and then let them go out and recruit. You've got two Wildcats that are top ten players in the league and gonna dominate, they'll reel in the talent.

The only way we "unload Asik" at this point is if we pair him with Jrue or multiple picks
