This draft is loaded....

We keep our pick....Golden State was patient and drafted around Steph. We got time.

Idk why ppl think it's win now or bust.

Uh, last year was the only time he didn't play at least 70 if you discount the lockout season where he played 54 of 66.

I'll be shocked if he plays 60 games this year including playoffs

You absolutely don't trade an asset other than maybe Gordon to move Asik now. His contract is not a likely problem for another year or 2.

We should have just kept Dawson we would be .500 right now. Dawson running the floor with ish in this offense... demps is the worst! who watches asik play for a season and still pays him that kinda money, especially when he doesn't fit the scheme of the new coach wtf.

To be clear, I don't really like any of the deals and I hope we dont do one but I get asked over 100 times a week what we could get if Dell does what he normally does and trades the pick, so I put the most realistic ones out there.

Noah is 30 in Tom Thibodeau years, which are like dog years. Have you seen him this year? He makes Kevin Garnett look spry by comparison.

Who is Rudy Gay? Is he the somewhat inefficient chucker we've seen for most of his career, or is he the efficient scorer that got to the line almost 6 times a game in the "Malone Era"? That's the only one of these I consider, because if you get the best version of Gay, that may be the best SF we'll have a shot at in the next few year short of drafting our own Kawhi/Butler with a mid teens pick.

And I think you could envision Gay working better with Ryno and AD than he does with Cousins and (insert other frontline player here). He could go down on the block more. There should be far more room for slashing, and when he does take 3's, they will likely be wide open like the ones Iggy or Barnes gets.

I wouldn't hate that deal, but I wouldn't be thrilled either. I would probably be most happy by the fact that it would likely force them to start Jrue and Tyreke together in the backcourt, something I have been begging for going on 2+ years

I'm sure our conversations helped a bit, but because of those you know I was in favor of either a short term overpay or a declining deal, not a bid against yourself escalating deal which, if MM's source is correct, was constructed with the idea of stretching him after 3 years. I you think there's a good chance you won't need him after 3 years, don't give him 4 years guaranteed. Just saying.

Anybody that thinks asik deserves that contract legit is blind to talent evaluation. Biggest waste of 7ft I've ever seen in my life. How do you play basketball everyday of your life and still not know how to not travel every single time you get the ball. He handles a basketball everyday and he still can't hold on to it or catch it. These things are unacceptable when you're getting paid that kinda dough and you're in the nba. I would rather have plumlee who's playing for duke and he's not even trying to play in the nba.

And dawson would have been great value for a second round pick in this offense at sf. We traded him for a little cash that does nothing for this franchise, why not take a chance draymond was a 2nd rounder?!?!?Dell demps is dumb and has done absolutely nothing for this franchise outside of crippling our future giving away picks.

You have to let Dawson go, it was never going to happen even if they had kept him rather than selling him. No 2nd rounder would have made the roster over the top 13, and the last 2 roster spots PLUS a hardship exception had to be used on guards because of our injury situation.
