Actually, it was after pick 37 that the history says you are very unlikely to get someone of quality. The 31-37 range has actually had some success, almost similar to late 1st rounders

And again, Pels had him top 15 on their big board. Now, what history is not kind to is Freshman 2nd rounders. Most 2nd rounders who pop are juniors or seniors

So, some things going in his favor. Some not so much. But the last thing I will say is what I always have - a huge part of how a player turns out is where he goes. This team loves him and is going to put a lot of time and resources into him. If he has the potential in him to be a good NBA player, he might have gone to the perfect place

I think you have to keep perspectives in mind there. AD is closer to the camera so he is gonna look a tad bit bigger. Not that he isn't already.

His back is touching diallo's shoulder and he is even with heild. It's not making that much of a difference

The great thing about the combine is we don't have to guess his height. Draft express puts them at the top of the page. With shoes. Without shoes. Standing reach. Wingspan.

That said, he is a couple inches shorter than AD coming out of college.

Is it feasible he could grow another half inch to an inch?

Here's a hypothetical: what if he doesn't grow much more, and gains a strengthened shooting touch, could he be a 3?

I think with his speed and athleticism that could certainly be an option.

Luckily he has one of the better big men shooting coaches in the league(Hanson) to work with him. He really should add a better jumper regardless of where he plays.

I think he could defend some 3s out of the gate and wonder if erman will try it at SL.

I could see him playing a similar style to Aminu.

No, he registered 1 assist all year at Kansas and isn't a good ball handler. That's not what you are looking for in a SF.

He will never, ever, ever, ever be a 3. He is far more likely to be a 5 at times. His footwork is good on the perimeter relative to other bigs, but terrible compared to wings

He will never be able to defend wings with regularity and his offensive skill set is that of a 5. Never, ever, ever, ever.

I know the fan base is desperate to find a SF, and will look anywhere for hope. Heck, I remember some people having hope He Tinaju or however it was spelled would be a possible answer

Diallo' skill set couldn't possibly scream big man anymore, and they are excited about him playing next to AD once he develops. Imagine that energy and hustle AD and Faried played with together but with far better defense

He is a big man, and that is a good thing. Look for our small forward elsewhere

Free agency? If they strike out on Batum and Parsons, are there any players that you have heard they could target in a trade?

There are tons of possibilities. Nobody in the league has any idea how this is all gonna shake out, let alone me

Diallo height and skill set is very Kenneth faried-esque
