I remember the Minnesota draft pick, and the stress of following our tank and their season

If we bag a pick outside the top 10 in the draft..im going to go ahead and call trade rape.
A top 25 NBA player just entering his prime...for a grossly underweight 5 who is already rehabbing knees, along with at best a possible NBA starter.

Don't you mean 1 game out of 12th place? 13th is probably going to be unattainable.

No I meant 13 and I do believe it is a bridgeable gap.
13.Denver 32-40
12.Atlanta
11.New Orleans 31-40
10.New York
9.Cleveland
8.Detroit
7.Sacramento
6.LA Lakers
5.Utah
4.Boston
3.Orlando
2.Philadelphia
1.Milwaukee
13.Denver 32-40

15.Minnesota 35 35
14.Charlotte 35 37
would be a bit harder and i wouldnt expect us to get that hot. however knowing how much charlotte likes tanking i wont put it past them once they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs

WTF...8 games under .500 and you make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
3 teams with losing records are projected to go as well...

I'm assuming you're talking about the draft position in your OP. The team who makes the playoffs in the east will be eliminated from the lottery. So our pick will probably be 12 assuming we'll pass up Denver.

So Nerlens Noel and someone like Rodney Hood for jrue. But yea natl media we're the ones who got raped

Noel and AD would have been a fricking riot if Noel can develop. I liked the trade at the beginning of the season, started to hate it at the all star break, and I am starting to like it again.

Have you seen how much AD struggles with big centers or even forwards? And he's bigger and better in every way than Noel. Guys in the nba are too good for pure shot blocking to work you have to be able to use your body. Noel and AD would've gotten run over IMO

Nah man. Bill Simmons already told me it was the worst trade ever.

What? Jrue is a fine player, but he is not a top 25 player. That's just as silly as anything Simmoms has said
You can like the Holiday trade and also not exaggerate Jrues place in the league.

Next you're going to tell me Tyreke hasn't played his way into the top 10 conversation
Posted on 3/27/14 at 8:22 am to TigerinATL
that would be lies and slander
Posted on 3/27/14 at 10:58 am to partywiththelombardi
The funny part Pierre Jackson will probably be better then this draft pick and non of the "experts" ever mention this as part of the sixers trade.

I just can't wait to hear Bill Simmons eat his words. I cannot stand that tool

Hes not far off of being a top 25 player. Id have him in the 30s. But he def has the potential to be a top 25 player in the league, and most likely will be.
Isnt an elite offensive PG, but plenty good enough. But where Holiday separates himself is with his D. Hes 1 of the best on ball defenders, some say hes the best, in the game. And in the west youve gotta have a PG that has good size and can defend, like Holiday.
The West is stacked with PGs. Tony Parker, Westbrook, Chris Paul, Lillard, Curry, Conley, Bledsoe, Dragic, Ty Lawson, Monte Ellis, Isaiah Thomas. 12 out of the 15 teams in the West have really good PGs. Pretty much every single night, youre going against a very good PG. And Holiday is up there with the best of them.
We cant really see the benefit of the trade yet, due to Holiday being injured and it took him a month to get acclimated to the players around him. But hes 1 of the best young PGs in the game. And is still improving. Not only that, but he brings so much athleticism to our squad its ridiculous. Before AD, we were 1 of the least athletic teams in the league. 2 years later, we have 3 freakishly athletic guys in Tyreke, AD, and Holiday.
Next year is gonna be so much fun
