Do you mean that big band stuff from all of the black and white movies? Never really cared for the stuff.

Probably a lot really.
Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell, Leo Kottke, David Bowie, The Clash (late 70's), Return to Forever, Weather Report, Funkadelic, The Band, CCR, Pink Floyd, etc.
Probably a lot more than that. I try not to limit myself to music from one given time period though.

good to see dylan on the list ... not surprised or anything, just don't know how much younger people listen to him, given the changes in technology over the past 20 years or so ...

Not under 30 but, when I was in high school I couldn't stand Dylan. Love him now. I guess I just was listening to his terrible voice back then, and not his lyrics.

Pink Floyd
King Crimson
Joy Division
Television
The Doors
Black Sabbath
Jefferson Airplane
Led Zeppelin
The Velvet Underground
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Rush
Big Brother and The Holding Company
The Clash
Haven't given The Beatles a fair shot yet but I'll get around to it. Same with Bob Dylan and David Bowie.

Probably 80% of my music catalogue is from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I don't want to waste your time by posting a bunch of bands everyone is aware of.

It's pretty much all I listen to.

There's not much from the 60s and 70s that I don't like and listen to regularly.

You're under 30? Always had you pegged as 40 or so.

I recommend some Yes for your prog rock side. And some Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels for the Tennessee side.

Someone recommended Close to the Edge to me recently, I'll give it a listen soon.
