They have always been overrated (IMO) but at least they had one decent song per album….but the new stuff is terrible.

And let the hate commence…

On tour with Metallica and Volbeat if I recall correctly or at least they just were on it.

Tend to agree. I've liked less songs per album from Waking the Fallen on. Haven't even listened to the newest.

I disagree. Their music has always been a hodgepodge of different things that they were digging at the time.

I liked The Stage a lot and am digging the new song that's playing, Malaguena Salerosa. It's different, but I dig it.

They kicked arse before Metallica. I have only heard nightmare and hail to the king albums. Both are good.

City of Evil was in my Walkman the majority of 2005. Went thru A LOT of batteries walking to and from jr high. Their self release a few years later was pretty sloppy compared to coe and wtf. Didn't listen to the last few albums

Even though they have never put together what I consider a complete album I will back them up. They are one of the few younger bands out there trying to keep the metal-hard rock flame burning. I give them credit for trying new things in their sound. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I have seen them twice including 3 weeks ago opening up for Metallica & they are great live. They do not disappoint. I really wonder what path they would have taken had the Rev not died.

They fricking kick arse and aren't afraid of trying new things. The stage album is unreal but it takes a few times listening to it to fully appreciate what they're doing. Also, they are incredible live.

You have to appreciate their musicianship in an era now where it is very difficult to find. Especially in mainstream stuff. The Stage may not be classic A7X but it's progressive interesting and great in its own right. Exist is a masterpiece. They're not doing WtF again. I wish they would do City of Evil stuff again too. Was worried post Nightmare with Hail to King it was very generic but Stage returns then to their creative selves.
