George Strait will do down in history as bigger than Hank Williams.

Country music died about the same time as Keith Whitley.

Bob Wills is still the King.

Bob Wills had a huge influence on the addition of "electric" instruments in country music! He is defiantly the trail blazer that influenced George Strait.
Side note: I wonder if George has ever thought of doing a pure Western Swing album? With everyone doing a Bluegrass album, it'd be cool for him to do a "roots" album of Western Swing!
