Well watch it. I PROMISE that you will enjoy it and that it will restore at least some of your faith in modern music. If you trust my opinions regarding music whatsoever just trust me and watch it. The dude is amazing.

But back to Jack, I've said here before, I gotta tone it down not to come off like a raving fanboy . Because I honestly believe he is one of those incredibly rare savant Mozart types. And there is not an bit of dick or pretense to him. What you see is what you get. I guess if anything maybe he fits in the strange category,Idk

Agreed. He truly is truly something special the kind of talent that only comes along every once in a while. Most of the time only once a generation.

Which is why I have a problem with people saying modern music sucks because we are lucky enough to have.

Derek Trucks, Jack White, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr, Dan Auerbach. We are living in a very musically rich era.

Garage Rock explosion of the 2000s

What Jay Reatard's legacy meant for rock music

quote:

Reatard's live shows were fast becoming the stuff of legend, and backed by bassist Stephen Pope and drummer Billy Hayes -- both of whom have gone on to join Wavves -- he would routinely pack 15 or more songs into 20-minute sets, doubling the crunch and tripling the tempos.
