Growing up I couldn't stand 80's music. Not it's like half of what comes on my pandora station.

Mine were white, yellow, blue and red. Don´t know where this color scheme came from.

5 pages and not one mention of the Police. I'm appalled.

I would put the Police in a different class altogether. Their music transcends the 80's,kind of like U2. I know much of it was made in the 80's but it just isn't "80's music" to me.

Yeah, because that's what most of us remember from the 80's. "80's music" just screams cheese but there was some great stuff put out in that decade too.

Very true. I love a lot of music from the 80s. The original thread title asked for cheesy 80s music, which is why the majority of what is posted is the cheesier of the 80s tunes.

Exactamente 3xl, the eighties produced some very, very good music.

Dire Straits is one of my top 10 favorite bands. I absolutely love them.

I saw The Police at Bonnaroo. They have always been s "meh" band for me. I dont hate them , bit i dont love them. I dunno, they're just kind of their. They dont suck, but they're not great. Its hard to form an opinion on them.

Great lists on every page!! all my favorites. I was a teenager in 70's and still love some disco and my favorites are all in 80's. I remember the first day of MTV, when cd's came out, hell I remember playing 8 tracks in my car when i was 15!! ( you could get a learners permit back then at 14yrs old!!)

Not offended. Just surprised you opened it up to country. Did not think you would partake in it.
