Have not seen them since about 2000. And after listening to them on their XM channel all the time I am ready.

They have done Canada and Europe recently but I would prefer a show I can get to in a car.

hopefully this fall. They haven't played Dallas in over a decade. Eddie mentioned that fact at his solo show in November. I think I heard fall dates will be announced soon. I got tix to see them at Wrigley

Gotta wait for Cameron to finish his Soundgarden gig.

True. Has to be one tired bastard. "Living the life" must be awesome in your 20's but probably gets old in your 40's.

Saw them at Deluna Fest in P'Cola Beach last September. They were awesome.

My son and I saw them at this show. Finally saw them after almost 20 years of wanting to.

They were stellar.

I'm hoping for some US fall dates.

Saw the signs. We were there about 2 weeks before the festival. I was sad...

I know. I want to see them every chance I get now. They are rock royalty now. Eddie's voice has lost some edge, but he is pushing 50. You can't sing like your 27 and angry forever. But where they lose the scream and balls they make up for it with lyrics and complexity now. Too political, but they always have been.

I would almost classify them as a jam band at this point.

I hope the fall your coincides with a new album. Ever since they brought out Of the Earth, I've wanted to hear a whole album of songs with that vibe.

They are a band I really want to see. I'm trying to see at least one 90s rock band every summer.

Gotta see them before they get too old.

Had a buddy make it out to that show as well. He said the same thing. I didn't even know they still did live performances.. needless to say, I was incredibly jealous.

word is that we'll get one in the fall. They did about 10-15 US dates in 2010 (saw them in Kansas City), Canada and South America in 2011, and Europe last year (w/ a couple of US dates sprinkled in). I think we'll get a decent US tour in the fall. I've got tickets for the July show at Wrigley Field. Hoping I'll be able to catch at least one fall show as well (assuming it happens but I think it will).

I think the days of 60-80+ tour dates in a year, like we last saw in 2003, are probably over for the band. I think they like to keep it short these days, just doing 10-15 dates at a time.

Was hoping to hear from you in this thread.

Seriously though, a fall tour could definitely happen...if not early spring of next year.

they've already said, in an email to fan club members about the July Wrigley show, that an announcement of a fall tour is forthcoming. just don't know where or how many. here is the quote from the email:

quote:

*Fall Tour dates in the US will be announced in the coming months.

Sounded like the same old Eddie to me.

I repeat - they were fricking awesome.

They played over 2 hours, played all their great stuff, and at the end did the ole Baba O'Riley cover. They do it much better than The Who.

I will catch them again in the Fall if they are anywhere close.

ETA: Oh lookey-here it is on Youtubez

I wish they'd do some huge grunge revival tour with Soundgarden and AIC.

Do you want to kill poor Matt Cameron? He couldn't do both sets, each night.

ive heard rumors of them doing some festivals in the fall (::cough:: ACL ::cough::)

if true, voodoo might be a candidate for new orleans.

i was thinking the same thing...

and, frankly, i'm not interested in AIC without Layne Staley. Nothing against DuVall, and I own the last album, I just didn't like the idea of them continuing without Staley. I'd rather see Cantrell do solo stuff (I really liked Degradation Trip).
