What bands/groups today would dare do an MTV Unplugged?

I grew up in the 90's, when every band lived/died on MTV. My fav show/production was "Unplugged" where every band you know, no matter genre, went live & acoustic. What bands would do it today? There were so many back in the day that did it... McCartney, Clapton, R.E.M., Cranberries, Live, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morsette, etc
Some of my favorites:
Alice In Chains
Pearl Jam
Nirvana (even though I never liked Nirvana/Kurt, I respect)
Jay-Z w/ The Roots
Is there still talent out there that would do this challenge? (I want links)

Nutshell brings back some memories. I used to lay in bed at night, and play it on my phone. It calms me down and inspires thought more than any other song. It's just so serene

All of those and add LL Cool J. His performance was awesome. I even liked 10,000 Maniacs. I didn't even know they still produced this show. Instead of MTV Unplugged they should have a No Autotune show. Let's see who will go do that.

IMHO, best Alice in Chains performance ever, and Layne was seriously F-ed up on drugs.

That Alice in Chains one was epic...last performance by Staley if I recall. Moments of weakness and strength. Sad overall, but compelling.

Zac Brown could do it and put on a freaking show. Most talented group of musicians I have ever seen live.

It cheers me up too. I feel like it's a depressing song though

Mumford & Sons
wiz khalifa
The Avett Brothers
I could think of a bunch of unknown bands that I would like see do it. But, MTV clearly doesn't play music anymore.

I've heard 2 of the three acoustic and I don't think they would knock it out of the park, but would play ball.
I know a tons of unknown bands as well. I'm just afraid today's music fans have never heard their fav group acoustic and live, which IMO, is the way you are meant to listen
