Using the Streetcar for JazzFest

Heading in Sunday for JF and was looking for different parking options. We won't be getting there till after lunch so I'm afraid most parking options will be filled (Cabrini).
Anyone here ever parked around Canal/Carrollton or Orleans/Carrollton and taken the streetcar down to Esplanade and then walk down to the entrance from there?

Just park on City Park Avenue or near NOMMA and walk, but yes the street car does work if needed
