AC/DC Black Ice tour '09. Favorite band bias, but that's part of the reason they're my favorite band. Classic, hard, fun rock which goes hard yet is digestable in most scenarios. So fun.

Saw the REO/Heart show. Awesome concert.Never forget it. Of course, Kevin Cronin is fond of saying that REO sold out the Superdome. He conveniently leaves out that Heart were the headliners for that show!lol

Grateful Dead: Tampa Stadium '95....not an "elite" show by GD standards, but we had front-row seats in front of Jerry, and we still had a blast. Extra bonus was the Black Crowes opened.

Phish: Big Cypress Y2K....if you were there, you know. If not, there's no point explaining.

Rush: St. Pete, FL '82....part of a 2-week mini-tour, "Tour Of The Nadars". They played early versions of Subdivisions and The Analog Kid, 5 months before Signals was released.

Yes: Atlanta '91....Union tour. Crappy album, incredible show. My only time I got to see Bruford with Yes (I've seen the rest in various incarnations).

Roger Waters: Atlanta 2010....Jaw-dropping visual experience.

Honorable mention: Kiss '96 Madison Square Garden...my parents grounded me in '79 & I missed seeing them as a result, so I had to wait 17 years before getting another chance to see the original lineup again, lol...
I also have the dubious honor of attending the final show with the original lineup in Charleston, SC 2000.

Worth mentioning: Triumph was my first concert ever, and their light show immediately set the bar high for any future concerts I'd attended. While it's not a Top-5 concert, I'll always have fond memories being there.

Pretty amazing that Ozzy played Beaumont with Randy on both tours - I never knew that!

This is really hard IMHO.

Pela - 2009 - Denver <-- This is by far the single best show experience I have ever seen
RHCP/Smashing Pumpkins/Pearl Jam - 1991 - New orleans
Spiritualized - 1997 - Atlanta
Rural Alberta Advantage - 2012 - Denver
We were promised jetpacks - 2015 - Denver

Probably slanted towards newer shows, as I remember them better. I really enjoyed Spiritualized in 2001. Pretty much every built to spill show (12 and counting), hard to pick a favorite - maybe keep it like a secret tour. Sonic Youth/Pavement was also a great show. TVOTR with broken social scene is right up there too.

i just go see so many shows, most just fade from my mind.

I saw the British band Gene (similar to The Smiths, sort of) play to about 35 people in a place in Boston, right around '03. Even though I've seen R.E.M. (Saenger), U2 ('87), The Smiths (UNO), et al., that show was easily the best show I've seen. They rocked as if they were playing to thousands. Best show I've seen.
