My dates are a little hazy...
Metallica/COC - Dallas 1998. My first real big concert. My mom took myself and a friend I shite you not.
Red Hot Chili Peppers/Snoop Dog -Shreveport Centurytel 2003. Chili Peppers were still in top form. John Frusciante melted my face.
Clutch/Mastodon/Nebula/Suplecs. - Shreveport 2003 516 Soundstage (anybody else remember this place?). Mastodon was unknown at the time. They blew my mind. I was inches away. Clutch put on the highest energy show I've ever seen.
Crowbar - New Orleans 2005 Howling Wolf. This was very soon after Katrina. Not a lot of people were there so everybody was just hanging out with the bands. Crowbar was heavy as frick. I was sore for a week after that concert.
Deftones - New Orleans 2007 House of Blues. Just an awesome show. The dynamics and atmosphere of their songs were phenomenal.

Yes it was, I think they opened w/ 2112. I saw them @ smoothie king in 2011 and it was the 30 year anniversary of moving pix, and they played the whole album. Rush was in fine form in 81 and 2011.
