Not sure why I stopped listening to them after Room, but I've been revisiting that and Is This It and remembering why I loved those two so much. I noticed they have 3 more after Room and it looks like they released a few singles this year. I suppose I could just fire up Spotify and start First Impressions, but I was curious what people's opinions were of the rest of their work. Remember hearing some not so favorable reviews at some point, but can't remember for which album.

Anything after Room on Fire is hit or miss. I feel like after the first 3 or 4 songs that First Impressions really starts to have a lot of forgettable songs.

Best tracks from First Impressions:
You Only Live Once
Juice box

Angles:
Under Cover of Darkness

Comedown Machine:
Tap Out
All the Time

Drag Queen from their new EP is pretty decent too. Nothing ever comes close to Is This It though. That whole album is great.

Hilarious. Just started that one and that was the exact impression I got halfway through.

Generally agree with all of this. But I also think "Heart in a Cage" off of First Impressions kicks arse

Heart in a Cage is a great tune. First Impressions sucks monkey nuts.

I really dug Machu Picchu off of Angles. Comedown Machine is pretty bland.

I really liked Angles. It had a cool 80's new wave sound to it. I enjoyed the whole album though.
