I like them a lot, too... or used to. Unfortunately, Chris Stapleton(lead singer) is no longer with the band... don't know that I've heard them since he left.

Gary Nichols is the new front man. You couldn't have found a better replacement. They don't bring the same energy they brought with Stapleton but Nichols is damn good. Mike Henderson, their mandolin and resonator guitar player, also left a while back. they have since hired a new mandolin player but I miss having the resonator in their music.
Ive seen them at The Station Inn numerous times and it's always unreal.

I'll have to check out some of their new stuff. Took some time to get used to that bluesy voice singing bluegrass, but they make some fine music.

I love the Steeldrivers...with Stapleton. They are still solid with the new front man but let's face it, Chris is what put them over the top. What is up with him anyway? Leaves SD, forms the Jompson Brothers (did not care for them), now he's trying a solo country thing? I wish he would figure it out. Don't mean to hijack but this song is great
