I listened to Adrenaline when it first came out but didn't like it. I bought Around the Fur and White Pony on cd when they came but kind of lost interest after that. They're good enough but not one of my favorites or someone I listen to a lot.

Always thought team sleep surpassed deftones. Great ambient music.

Different Strokes for different folks. Everyone keeps telling me how good the Black Keys are but I just don't get it

I'm leaving with a few friends from the bar at about 430, should be down somewhere nearby for some booze beforehand.

Zero chance this show lives up to the expectations of the people here but I think I'll have fun nonetheless.

Doors opened at the Mobile show at 7:00. I got there at 8:30 and still made it pretty close to the front, left to get a drink about 4 times and still made it back to my spot. Standing in long lines is pointless imo.

Have a blast to everyone that is going tonight. They sounded damned good.

I'm way overdressed for the show, but I work until 5:30 downtown and live out near Shenandoah. Do I drive home to look more concert-ready, or do I show up early as the most overdressed person at the show?

Dude definitely go home first and get comfortable, the opening band starts @ 8:30. No lines and you can still get to a good spot, especially if you're alone.

but but but every girl's crazy bout a sharp-dressed man.

eta - This will be my first time seeing Deftones since dredg opened for them at the HOB back in like 2006. We were waiting outside as my friend kept sneaking into sound check. He got to hang out with Gavin from dredg, but while he was inside, Chi came out and greeted the line. I've since hung out with Gavin numerous times, so I'm glad I stayed out and got to shake Chi's hand.

I would go right after work. You'll be looking fresh and you'll be guaranteed a good spot. I'll be the short dude sipping on something in the line and hopefully way up front.

Here's to a good show, fellow Tigerdroppians.

I'll be there with friends. But won't be able to leave Lafayette until after 5. Meaning I'll get to BR with all of it's great traffic going down. Work sucks.

Dude, you shouldn't see much traffic at all at that point unless there is a wreck. The right lane that exits to Nicholson and Highland usually flows just fine off the bridge. Now, if you plan to stay on I-10, that's on you.

I agree. I always take that exit. But it's leading up to the bridge that is usually a problem. It's always hit or miss. I've driven up to BR at that time hundreds of times and it's always a different situation. I'm hoping tonight is smooth sailing.
