Through the years as the fire
Starts to mellow
Burning lines in the book of our lives
Though the binding cracks and the
Pages start to yellow
I'll be in love with you.

My wife always makes fun of my man-love for Fogelberg. Dude was and excellent musician--songwriter, guitarist, pianist, vocalist--he excelled at all.
I've had my musician son listen to his stuff.
You know he was asked to join the Eagles at one point? It would have been a shame to bury his talent under the Henley/Frey leadership.
I saw him do an acoustic concert at LSU in the 80's solo. One of the best things I've ever seen.
Here he is doing one of my favorites, The Reach live in Concert. Not great quality, but good.
